There is a sense of unease on campus at Thompson Rivers University.

It was Monday when the Faculty Association issued 72 hour strike notice.

On Tuesday, there came news that a mediator was appointed.

Both sides agreed to employ Mark Brown to help with contract negotiations and plan to sit down with him on Friday.
