Representatives from five start-up technology companies in Kamloops are in Vancouver rubbing shoulders with the who's who of the technology world.

The first B.C. Tech Summit kicked off yesterday.

The Kamloops Innovation Centre has a booth in the tradeshow.

Daybreak spoke with Lincoln Smith, KIC's executive director.
