Joey Hamilton pulls hamstring

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Joey Hamilton left Monday night's 8-5 victory versus the Milwaukee Brewers after he pulled his left hamstring.

Hamilton suffered the injury while covering first base on a grounder in the fourth. The veteran righthander gave up three runs on five hits while walking one and striking out three in 3 1/3 innings.

Jim Brower took the mound after Hamilton's early exit and earned the win.
