No doubt hockey fans are excited about the prospect of seeing their favourite NHL players on the big ice at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

The grumblings from some team owners suggest this might be the last time NHL stars participate in the games, at least for the foreseeable future. So get yourself up early (yeah, a lot of the games at at 7 a.m.) to catch what might be your last chance to see Canada's NHL stars play at the Olympics.

Seven former Hamilton Bulldogs are suiting up for teams in the men's competition, including Canada, the U.S., Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Click through the gallery at the top of this page to see which former Bulldog is the captain of a national team.
