A Binbrook man on a shoplifting spree has been arrested for allegedly stealing over two dozen items from local stores, police say.
Earlier this month, police were called about two thefts under $5,000 at two different Wal-Mart stores.
A Binbrook man was arrested, and through further investigation, officers discovered the man had gone on a “stealing spree” of local stores.
On Wednesday, police announced they recovered 32 items that had been stolen from local shops and sold at a secondhand store. The estimated value of all the stolen goods is between $4,000 and $5,000, police say.
A Binbrook man is facing two charges of theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
