Hamilton police is asking the public's assistance to identify a robbery suspect.

The suspect was involved in a robbery at Any Time Food Mart at 180 Queen St. S. last month, police say.

The male entered the store and wielded a knife to the store clerk, according to police. He then assaulted the clerk and a female customer who attempted to intervene.

The suspect is described as five feet and five inches tall with short stubble, thin build and light complexion. He is described as being in his mid 20s. He spoke with no accent and wore a distinctive vest and fur hat during the robbery.
