Road rage in downtown Hamilton

Around 3 a.m. Saturday, a driver intentionally sideswiped another vehicle and fled, police said.

There was a case of road range on downtown Hamilton streets early Saturday, police said.

Around 3 a.m., a driver in a black 2001 Ford Taurus intentionally sideswiped another car on Charlton Avenue near the Sherman Cut.

The driver in the Taurus kept driving westbound and eventually caught up with the victim again, rear ending him.

The suspect fled the scene while the victim stayed on scene for police to arrive.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
