Charges have been levied against two men after pot and drug paraphernalia was found in a car when it was stopped in the city’s east end Friday night, police say.

Officers stopped a car in the area of Kenilworth Avenue and Main Street East around 11:20 p.m. Both the male driver and the male passenger were breaching numerous bail conditions, police say.

They were arrested, and after a search, police found one of the men was carrying over 80 grams of individually-bagged marijuana, alongside scales, a grinder and pipes.

A 19-year-old Hamilton man was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and failing to comply with an undertaking.

A second 19-year-old Hamilton man was also charged with failing to comply with a bail hearing.
