Hamilton police are asking for the public's help in the search for three suspects in the weekend robbery at Al Simmons Gun Shop.

Around 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, a stolen grey compact sedan drove into the front doors of the store, located on the southwest corner of Locke Street South and Canada Street.

Three suspects, believed to be men in their 20s, were seen fleeing with firearms, police spokeswoman Debbie McGreal-Dinning said in a Monday news release.

Officers were able to recover all of the stolen weapons, but have made no arrests in the case.

Police ask anyone with information on the crime to call Staff Sgt. Emidio Evangelista at 905-546-2991 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
