Police renewed their call Tuesday for the public's help in the search for an Oshawa teen who has been missing for more than a month, and who is believed to be in the Hamilton area.

Autumn Calderon, 15, was living at a group home in Oshawa before she disappeared Dec. 9, 2012.

According to police, Calderon has run away before, but never for this long.

The Durham Regional Police issued a public plea for help finding the teen on Dec. 21, asking for tips from Hamilton residents. The teen reportedly has family and friends in Hamilton, but repeated efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful.

Autumn Calderon is 15 years of age, 1.6 metres (five foot five inches) tall, and weighs about 47 kilograms (104 pounds).  She has a thin build, brown eyes and brown hair, which she wore long at the time that she went missing.

Anyone with information regarding her location is asked to contact police.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
