Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a suspect in a downtown robbery.

Christopher Draskoczy, 21, is wanted in connection with a mugging that occurred on Monday in Hamilton.

Around 12:30 p.m., two teenagers — a female and a male — met up with a man who was known them and two of his friends near Jackson Square.

The group moved to a building east of the mall. While in a stairwell, the teenagers were assaulted and robbed, police say.

The female teen was robbed of her purse, which contained electronics as well as personal identification.

The assailants fled the scene on foot.

Draskoczy is described as white, five-foot nine-inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with short dark hair. Police say he was last seen wearing a black shirt, a grey sweater, baggy blue jeans and a black jacket with fur trim.
