Police have arrested two people after they raided a storage locker and found tools, bicycles, pellet guns, sports equipment and even family photographs believed to be stolen.

Hamilton Police say for months, they've been investigating numerous property crimes in Hamilton, Niagara, Peel and Halton.

That led them to a storage facility at 30 Burford Rd. in Stoney Creek just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Inside one of the storage units, they found thousands of dollars worth of electronics, tools, high-end bicycles, air soft/pellet guns, fishing tackle, sports equipment. They also found family photos and other personal items.

Detectives have identified most of the victims, police say, and are returning the property and getting their support for charges.

A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman are currently in court on the charges. Police aren't releasing their names.

Police will be posting photos of items that need to be identified.

Anyone with information should call Staff Sgt. Emidio Evangelista at 905-546-2991, or visit crimestoppershamilton.com.
