Pedestrian seriously injured in Hamilton collision
Hamilton police are investigating a Wednesday crash that sent a 39-year-old woman to hospital.
Just after 10 a.m., a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Main Street West and Queen Street North.
Emergency crews rushed her to Hamilton General Hospital with “serious injuries,” said Ian Wright, a commander with the Hamilton Paramedic Service.
He said the victim suffered head, leg and shoulder injuries.
Hamilton police said in a tweet that they are probing the incident.
