Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a convicted robber, and say he may be in the Hamilton area.

In a Friday news release, the OPP said Joshua Buckle, 37, is on the loose and has breached his parole.

He is serving a five-year, three-month sentence for robbery, theft and assault with intent to resist arrest.

Buckle is said to frequent the Barrie and Hamilton areas.

He is described as five-foot-ten, 240 lbs., with brown eyes, brown hair and a receding hairline.

The OPP ask anyone with information on Buckle’s whereabouts to call the force’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad at 416-808-5900 (toll-free at 1-866-870-7673) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
