Summer isn't over at the Paralympics.

Ancaster's Summer Mortimer has won gold and set a new world record in the women's 100 metre backstroke in London, England.

This is Mortimer's second gold of the games. She finished in a time of 1:05:90. Australian Sophie Pascoe finished second.

Mortimer won the 50 metre freestyle last Friday.

And she won a silver medal in the 200 individual medley the day before. Mortimer has two more races to go. She can add to her medal total in the 100m freestyle on Thursday and the 4x100m medley relay on Friday.
