A Hamilton man was both literally and figuratively shocked when he came home early Saturday morning to find his Ainslie Wood home had been broken into.
Police were called to a home on Ewen Road about a break and enter around midnight, when a man came home and realized his house had been broken into. When he and a friend went inside, two masked men who were trying to escape the home rushed them, police say.
The four started wresting, and that’s when both victims believe they were “touched by a some type of low-voltage Taser,” police say.
Neither of the men had any visible injuries. The two suspects drove off in a red vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
