Keep your umbrella close, Hamilton, the wet weather could continue Wednesday.
While Burlington was blasted by rain over the weekend, causing flooding after two months worth of rain fell in roughly two and a half hours, Mother Nature isn't letting up: more rain could come in the Hamilton-Burlington area this afternoon, although the chance the thunderstorm will open up is at 30 per cent.
If you’re looking to get gas this morning, the cheapest price in the area is 126.9 at the Amco at 859 Hwy 6 near 5th Concession West.
GO Transit isn’t reporting any major delays on routes connected to Hamilton, but expect the usual slowdowns on route 16 heading into Toronto because of construction on the Gardiner.
Here are the issues police are reporting on the roads this morning:
- Two vehicle collision on Highway 401 Westbound on the collector lanes, near 427. 7:40 a.m.
It’s 16 C this morning, heading up to a high of 25 C with a 30 per cent chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
If you're still working your way out of the weekend flooding, the rest of the week (and coming weekend) promises sunny skies and highs of 23 to 27 C, so plan your outdoor weekend if the showers come down this afternoon.
