Hamilton weather, traffic and more: Daystarter Tuesday
It's going to be a wet Tuesday out there, Hamilton, as the rain will continue to pour in. And in case you missed the news last night, actor, comedian and Oscar-winner Robin Williams died of an apparent suicide Monday night. News of the 63-year-old's death has dominated the airwaves, on TV, talk shows and even sports radio. Closer to home, Hamiltonians may recall Williams filled Man of the Year here in 2006.
If you’re looking to get gas this morning, there are two spots registering the cheapest price around at 126.9. Costco at 100 Legend Court near Golf Links Road in Ancaster and the Amco at 859 Hwy 6 near 5th Concession West in Flamborough are both selling the lowest fare.
There are no notable delays on Go Transit Tuesday.
Here are the issues police are reporting on the roads:
- Hwy 403 EB at Mavis Road, Mississauga: Two vehicile collision in the centre lane . 8:00 a.m.
Expect showers for most of the day and into the night. There's a 70 per cent chance of rain for most of the day, with the rain expected to begin before noon and extending into the night.
The high is an expected 24 C, but it may feel a bit more muggy than that: Environment Canada has the humidity at a sticky 94 per cent, a number that will hopefully fall as the rain begins to descend.
The rain is expected to taper off for the rest of the week, with sunshine in the forecast beginning on Thursday.
