Morning, Hamilton. We’re back to rain showers and possible thunderstorms to start this week off, so grab your umbrella.
If you need to get gas this morning, the cheapest price in the area is 128.9 at the Flamborough Global at 1294 Hwy 6 and 8th Concession Road East.
One major delay this morning for commuters heading into Toronto on the QEW, and GO Transit is reporting the Aldershot 7:07 a.m. to Union Station train is delayed by just over six minutes.
Here are the problems police are reporting on the roads:
- Hwy 403 EB before York Blvd, Hamilton: Disabled vehicle. 7:50 a.m.
- Update- QEW Toronto bound east of Erin Mills Pkwy: Right lane remains closed. 7:19 a.m.
- Update- QEW Toronto bound east of Erin Mills Pkwy: At 9 a.m., traffic will be diverted at Erin Mills Parkway. MTO at scene. 7:16 a.m.
- QEW Toronto bound east of Erin Mills Pkwy: 2 left lanes open for traffic because of a truck rollover. All lanes will be closed at 9 a.m. to remove truck. 7:08 a.m.
Today’s forecast is calling for increasing cloudiness, with a 60 per cent chance of showers this afternoon and risk of a thunderstorm. High 23 C. UV index 8 or very high.
Tonight is expected to be cloudy with a few showers beginning late this evening. Risk of a thunderstorm overnight. Low 16 C.
Tomorrow’s high is 24 C – but expect clouds and intermittent showers again throughout the day.

A controversial new ticketing enforcement bylaw for "unwanted behaviour" downtown that includes loitering, spitting and swearing is back at city hall this morning.
