Environment Canada has issued a sever thunderstorm watch for the City of Hamilton, expecting the city will be under rainfall in the afternoon. 

The thunderstorm watch extends to winds with gusts up to 90 km/h, with conditions which could threaten heavy rain and even hail.

The national weather service also indicated Hamilton will reach a high of 28 Celsius Friday as the barometer rises, leading into showers in the afternoon, as well as potential showers Saturday. Environment Hamilton is also forecasting chances of rain through the long weekend, and into Tuesday.
