Summer in the city isn't over just yet.
The City of Hamilton has issued a heat advisory alert for September 10, as temperatures are expected to soar above 30 degrees.
Public health officials, as well as other community organizations will set up various "cool stations" across the city.
Experts suggest the following recommendations to reduce the risk of heat-related illness:
- Drink plenty of water
- Go to an air-conditioned place
- Wear a hat, and light, loose-fitting clothes
- Keep your living space cool
- Limit physical activity
