Hamilton teens nabbed defacing bus shelter with bingo dabber
Two teens were arrested on Tuesday night for defacing a bus shelter with a bingo dabber, police say.
Around 8:30 p.m., police were called to a bus shelter near the Valley Park Recreation Centre, where a group was "doing graffiti."
They had "just made a mess of the bus shelter, dabbing it with ink running down everywhere," said Sgt. Terri-Lynn Collings.
A mailbox had also been dabbed, she said.
When police arrived, two males ran off. Two other teens were arrested, and police determined they were the would-be artists involved with the graffiti.
A 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old female were arrested and charged with mischief.
