A Hamilton man who was stabbed Wednesday evening refused to co-operate in identifying his attacker, according to police.

Four men attacked the 36-year-old in the backyard of a Lang St. house near Reid Ave. S. and stabbed him several times, police said. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries but refused to give police information about the suspects.

"He just is not helping us with the investigation at all," Sgt. Terri-Lynn Collings explained, noting the victim was not being uncooperative out of distress, but rather deliberately refusing to aid police in the investigation.
