The Hamilton Police homicide unit is seeking the public's assistance to find an attempted murder suspect from a June 15 incident.

Police responded to a call at 70 Emerald St. S. to a report of someone being shot. Officers found a 47-year-old male victim with multiple injuries.

Police arrested 20-year-old Anthony Fitzroy the evening of June 15. The homicide unit is still looking for a second male suspect, identity unknown.

Investigators say he is in the Toronto area. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack and that the victim knew his attackers.
