Hamilton police have named a man they believe was involved in a robbery in which one of the suspects wore a cartoon-like wolf hat.

Investigators are looking for information on the whereabouts of Dylan Wynne. He is wanted in connection with a Jan. 1 theft at the Esso gas station at 1335 Main St. E.

Police say one of the men grabbed the attendant in a choke hold while the other man pulled open the cash drawer and grabbed the money.

Both men then fled the scene on foot.

One suspect, a 28-year-old man, turned himself in and has been charged in the incident. That man, police have said, was not the suspect who wore the wolf hat.

Police ask anyone with information on Wynne’s whereabouts to call Det. Const. Mark Mayner at 905-546-8938, Det. Sgt. Emidio Evangelista at 905-546-2991 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
