Hamilton man seriously injured when hit by a vehicle

The 54-year-old man was seriously injured when he was hit on the Mountain on Friday.

A Hamilton man was seriously injured when he was hit by a vehicle on the Mountain on Friday.

The man was wearing dark clothes and heading eastbound around Upper James Street and Rymal Road around 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 18. A 38-year-old driver hit him with a vehicle, and the man suffered “a number of significant injuries,” Hamilton Police Service say.

The 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are not pursuing charges.
