Toronto police say there has been a spike of stunt driving incidents in the city — one involving a Hamilton man.
A 32-year-old Hamilton man was clocked early Monday going 185 km/h on the Gardiner Expressway. The speed limit is 100 km/h.
He was charged with stunt driving, speeding and drunk driving.
That's just one of 11 arrests Toronto police made over the weekend. In many of the cases, alcohol was a factor, police say.
Acting Supt. Gord Jones says stunt driving is an issue all over Ontario. There were 45 charges last weekend province wide.
