Hamilton Police are looking for a male in his 20s after three similar sexual assaults last Friday night.

The first happened around 6:30 on Birch Street when the female victim was walking north towards Cannon Street. The male suspect came up to the woman from behind and hit her on the buttocks. He hopped on a bicycle and fled the area.

The second occurred about two hours later near King Street East downtown, police said. Two women were walking when a man again approached from behind and hit one of the women in the buttocks and walked away. He had a bike with him.

An hour later around 9:30 p.m., three women were waiting at a bus stop near Barton Street East and Fraser Avenue when a man passed by and hit one of the women in the buttocks. The man hopped on a bike and rode away.

The man is described as white, in his 20s, short with a thin build. He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark track pants. The bike he had with him is a dark coloured mountain bike.
