Talking on a cell phone while driving has brought a heap of legal trouble for a Beamsville man.
Hamilton police spotted a man using his cell phone while driving on Barton Street East around 9 a.m. Nov. 3. They pulled him over to find that he had a suspended licence as well as crystal meth, codeine and morphine in the car.
The 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance, driving under suspension and breach of recognizance.
He was also charged with driving while using a hand-held communication device.
