A 22-year-old man was run over by a car after a fight erupted between two groups people in the city’s north end early Thursday.
The fight broke out between two groups of fewer than 10 people around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Barton Street East and Sanford Avenue North, Const. Debbie McGreal-Dinning told CBC Hamilton.
After the two groups went their separate ways, one group returned in a car and plowed into the other group, police say.
A 22-year-old man sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries, and two others were treated for minor injuries. Officers are hoping to speak with people who saw what happened
“They believe people were in the area who may have something to offer,” McGreal-Dinning said.
