Driver charged after boozy run to brain injury clinic
A boozy trip to a Hamilton brain injury clinic has a Dunnville man facing drunk driving charges.
At around noon on Tuesday, an employee at the Hamilton General Hospital’s brain injury clinic called police about a client getting dropped off by a driver who was possibly impaired.
Police found the driver nearby and arrested him, said Debbie McGreal-Dinning, a spokesperson with the Hamilton Police Service.
The driver took a breath test, blowing over the legal limit.
Police charged a 60-year-old Dunnville man with impaired driving and released him on a promise to appear in court.
