A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition and another 14-year-old boy in serious but stable condition after a two-vehicle collision in Flamborough this morning, Hamilton police say. A dog is also missing.
The female driver of the vehicle both boys were riding in is in stable condition, and the male driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision is also in stable condition, said spokeswoman Const. Debbie McGreal-Dinning.
The crash took place before 7 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Brock Road and Concession 6.
Ian Wright, a commander with the Hamilton Paramedic Service, had said after the collision one of the children had sustained "critical injuries."
A Riley boxer/lab cross is also missing since the crash. Anyone who sees it should call police.
The intersection continues to be closed in all directions for a cleanup and police investigation and will be for another two to three hours, McGreal-Dinning said.
