Hamilton police are looking for a man who is believed to be responsible for a number of robberies in the city in 2014.

The man captured by security cameras is responsible for four robberies since Jan. 7, 2014, according to the police. The robberies took place at:

  • Esso Gas Bar at 1368 Upper Gage Ave.
  • The Mac's Store at 1221 Limeridge Rd.
  • The Best Buy Convenience at 665 Fennell Ave. E.
  • The Avondale Store at 205 Quigley Rd.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s with thin build. He is about 150 to 160 pounds and six-feet tall.

Police also note that the white hoodie he was wearing during the robberies has a very distinctive red design on the sleeves, chest and back.

Hamilton police's BEAR Unit, which investigates breaking and entering, auto theft and robbery, continues to investigate.
