An Ancaster man faces several charges after a van was stolen from a gas station on the Hamilton Mountain.
Around 12:10 a.m. on Friday, police received a call about the theft of a van from a gas station on Rymal Road East near Upper James.
Officers in the area located the van driving westbound on Rymal Road, and pulled over the driver, who, police say, showed signs of impairment.
They arrested him and took him to the police station for a breath test, where he blew over the legal blood-alcohol limit.
A 22-year-old Ancaster man faces charges auto theft, drunk driving and breach of probation charges in connection with the incident.
