71-year-old cyclist seriously injured in collision with car in Stoney Creek
Cyclist sent to hospital with serious head injuries in Tuesday evening collision
A 71-year-old cyclist from Stoney Creek sustained serious head injuries Tuesday in a collision with a car.
Around 7:45 p.m., emergency responders were called to the corner of King Street and Green Forest Drive in Stoney Creek for a collision.
Hamilton Police said a 63-year-old woman from Grimsby was driving a Pontiac Vibe east on King Street when she collided with the cyclist riding northbound.
Hamilton Police interviewed the driver. Police have concluded that neither speed nor impairment were factors in the collision.
