Four Hamilton men have been charged with breaking into the home of an elderly man and robbing him.
Police say on Sept. 4, four men went to the door of a man in his late 70s. The man thought it was a pharmacy delivery and opened the door.
Once inside, "the suspects made allegations that the man was involved in inappropriate behaviour on a previous date," Hamilton Police Service says.
The elderly man was slapped in the head, which broke his glasses.
The suspects fled with the man's laptop computer, cell phone and bottles of alcohol.
Police have arrested a 34-year-old Dundas man, a 27-year-old Dundas man and a 19-year-old Hamilton in connection with the incident. A warrant is still outstanding for a 43-year-old Hamilton man.
They are all charged with robbery.
