Police are investigating after a 17-year-old was dragged by a vehicle on the weekend.

Witnesses called police around 3:45 p.m. on Nov. 2 to report seeing a man dragged down East 22nd toward MacLennan Street. Emergency workers arrived to see the victim lying in the street on the north side of Vickers Road.

Paramedics transported the teen to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police describe the vehicle as a two-door purple or burgundy sedan with tinted windows.

The victim had left his home to meet with someone, but police still don’t know what transpired.
