Man, 44, dies in single-vehicle crash at Mohawk/West 5th
A 44-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Hamilton.
At 5:18 p.m. on Sunday, paramedics were called to a crash involving a van that had struck a pole at Mohawk Road West and West 5th Street.
A man was without vital signs when paramedics arrived, Hamilton Paramedic Service Deputy Chief Doug Waugh told CBC News in a telephone interview.
The man was taken to Hamilton General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
