Fort Erie couple move out of furnished rental with some of the furniture, police say

A man and woman face charges in Fort Erie after police say the pair rented a fully furnished home and left with some of the furniture.

A man and woman face charges in Fort Erie after police say they rented a fully furnished home and left with some of the furniture.

Niagara police say the pair were moving out and took furniture that came with the house. That includes items from the bedroom and living room.

Police say they tracked down the tenants and charged them.

A 35-year-old man and 30-year-old woman are charged with theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
