Vancouver police are following up new leads in the death of an elderly woman killed in her home. Norah Davis, an 85-year old widow was found near death in her house in the Wall Street area of east Vancouver. She died on friday. Police spokesperson Anne Drennan says police are interested in a recent rash of break-ins clustered around Davis's residence.

Drennan says it's possible Davis was killed during a botched robbery rather than during a planned home invasion. She's asking anyone with information on any of the break and enters to contact police or the crimestoppers tip line.
