With just hours to go, high-profile rap singer, Eminem, and the band, Limp Bizkit, announced they won't be performing in Vancouver's Wednesday night. It was not the result of the controversy over Eminem's lyrics though

The show at GM Place was cancelled because Limp Bizkit's lead singer, Fred Durst, has a "re-occurrence of a throat condition".

The concert's promoters say the Vancouver event will not be re-scheduled because of a tight touring schedule. So refunds will be issued starting Thursday.

Eminem and Limp Bizkit are headlining the Anger Management Tour. Last month, the Ontario government unsuccessfully tried to have Eminem's Toronto show cancelled, on the grounds that his lyrics promote hate.
