A 26-year-old Morinville woman is dead in what police suspect was a domestic dispute Wednesday night.

Police found the woman's body after they were called to a house in the town 35 kilometres north of Edmonton at around 7:45 p.m.

The woman's husband, 29, was also found in the home along with three children, all under the age of seven. The husband was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

The children did not suffer any physical injury and were placed in the care of extended family, police said.

The family was not known to police and officers have never responded to any reports of domestic problems at the house.

No charges have been laid.
