A Wetaskiwin man is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by police after allegedly driving while three times over the legal limit Sunday morning..
The vehicle was stopped by a sheriff just before 8 a.m. after someone spotted it drive past a stop sign. RCMP was called in after the sheriff noticed signs of impairment.
Police say the 38-year-old driver gave a breath sample and registered a blood alcohol level of 0.260.
RCMP say charges are pending against the man.
