It's been a raucous number of weeks in the Alberta legislature as the opposition went after the Redford government over the awarding of the tobacco lawsuit contract, political donations from the premier's sister and the breakdown in relations with the province's doctors.

Thursday's question period was the last of this session, and somehow MLAs managed to have a good laugh.

With the help of his caucus, Wildrose MLA Jeff Wilson poked a little fun at backbench Tory MLAs who asked unchallenging questions that allowed Tory cabinet ministers a chance to tout government initiatives.
