Alberta's ATM bandits have struck again, this time using a stolen tractor to smash into a Servus Credit Union in Lamont to steal an ATM around 2:30 a.m. Monday, say RCMP.

Police are looking for five suspects, who they say stole the tractor from a nearby business.

Police recovered the ATM, the tractor and a second stolen vehicle at the scene.

Investigators will be going over security footage and are also asking any possible witnesses to come forward.

Lamont is about 60 km northeast of Edmonton.

ATM thefts are a growing problem in rural Alberta, where thieves have used heavy vehicles to smash into banks, gas stations, hotel lobbies and Money Marts before making off with the machines.
