A Cochrane, Alta., man who killed four people while driving the wrong way on QE II has pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal negligence causing death.
Tyler James Stevens, 29, was charged after the head-on crash near Innisfail on the night of Mar. 4.
He was driving north in his SUV while in the southbound lanes when he hit another SUV carrying five temporary foreign workers from Edmonton.
Four of the workers — two men, 35, and two women, aged 39 and 52 — were killed and a 28-year-old woman was hurt.
Four of the five Filipinos worked at the Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel.
Stevens, who is still facing charges of impaired driving causing death, will be sentenced in January.
