Suspicious package at hospital turns out to be mousetrap

Edmonton police and fire services were busy on Sunday morning responding to another report of a suspicious package. This time, a black toolbox with the word “poison” was discovered under a bench on the west side of the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre around 10:45 a.m.

Edmonton police and fire services were busy on Sunday morning responding to another report of a suspicious package.

This time, a black toolbox with the word “poison” was discovered under a bench on the west side of the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre around 10:45 a.m. Police and fire services were called to the scene.

The package was eventually determined to be a commercial grade external mouse trap.
