Edmonton Crime Stoppers by the numbers:

  • Cases cleared: 76
  • Arrests made: 56
  • Value of recovered stolen property: $460,000
  • Total value of drugs seized: $4 million

After months of worry the local chapter might run out of money, an increase in donations has kept Edmonton Crime Stoppers in business.

“The community stepped up and has supported us, which I think is a huge testament to how important this program is,” said spokesperson Annette Wagers.

And that community support is helping Crime Stoppers continue to make a big difference in Edmonton.
