Stolen equipment, vehicles, recovered by police

Two men have been charged after heavy equipment and vehicles valued at $843,000 were recovered by Edmonton Police.
The arrests follow a four-month investigation into thefts from Edmonton-area businesses, construction sites, and private property between 2009 and 2012.
The probe started after a skid-steer went missing from a job site near 66th Street and Anthony Henday Drive in October.
A tip led police to a fenced compound near 174th Street and 105th Avenue, where they say more stolen property was found.
Police are now returning the recovered equipment to the owners.
Investigators believe other stolen items may have been sold to unsuspecting individuals.
