Pedestrian, 77, struck and killed by truck

A 77-year-old woman died after she was struck in this west Edmonton intersection Monday afternoon. (CBC)
A 77-year-woman died in hospital after she was struck by a truck Monday afternoon.
The woman was crossing 156th Street after 3 p.m. when she was hit by a Ford F-150 that was turning left from 110th Avenue.
The woman was taken to hospital where she died from her injuries.
Police say the woman had the right of way and that alcohol was a factor.
Charges are pending against the driver.
